الدكتور محمد عبده – خريج مدرسة المتفوقين الثانوية – استاذ الفيزياء المتخصص فى الاندماج النووى وعالم متميز فى مجالى الهندسة والعلوم التطبيقية بجامعة كاليفورنيا، وهو مدير مركز الأبحاث المتقدمة لعلوم الطاقة والتكنولوجيا، كما أنه مدير لمركز علم وتكنولوجيا الاندماج النووي، ورئيس لمجلس بحوث الطاقة فى الولايات المتحدة.
له العديد من الأبحاث والاسهامات العلمية الهامة. وحصل على العديد من الجوائز ونواحى التقدير مثل :
